Maximus Decimus Aurelius or Max for short, was playing with a toy that was flawed. The toy created a suction around Max’s tong and couldn’t be removed without amputation.
The owner felt like Max couldn’t live a healthy life without his tongue so she made the hard decision to put Max to sleep.
FYI, Stay away from the toy called Kong Beast Tuggle, there is an image on this blog of a dog that had to be rushed to the vet with that same toy stuck on its tongue!
Fortunately, the owners were able to get their fur-babby to the hospital in time and the dog was able to make a full recovery. Yes!
